Rudraprayag, A Holy Confluence of Rivers and Traditions
Rudraprayag is a municipal town situated in the district of Rudraprayag of Uttarakhand in India. It houses one of the five confluences of River Alakananda. The river meets with River Mandakini here. It is situated at a height of about 900 meters above sea level surrounded by hills of the Lower Himalayan ranges. This place is also considered as the ‘abode of gods’.
